We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cell Culture Research Associate to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cell culture techniques and a strong understanding of laboratory protocols. You will play a crucial role in supporting our research initiatives and contributing to groundbreaking discoveries.

💼 Role: Cell Culture Research Associate
What You'll Do:
● Culturing mammalian cells in shake flask and benchtop bioreactors.
● Support lab operational activities for rAAV cell culture studies in stirred tank bioreactors including AMBR15 and/or AMBR250 bioreactors.
● Execution of molecular biology experiments including SDS-PAGE/western blotting, plasmid cloning etc.
● Execute experimental designs; collect and format data for analyses in support of technical platform development objectives.
● Compile data analysis summaries and present to appropriate project teams
● Contribute to the authoring of lab procedures, data analysis summaries, and support data verification and other relevant process documentation.
● Maintaining an accurate laboratory notebook following ALCOA+ principles.
● Ensuring work conforms to applicable quality and safety standards.
● Support maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
● Other duties as assigned including but not limited to contributing to lab organization and cleanliness, consumables stocking, and routine equipment maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
✅ B.S. in chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or biology/molecular biology or related area with 0 – 4 years of relevant scientific or technical experience in the life sciences industry or equivalent.
✅ Comfortable working with instrumentation and technologies in support of cell culture process monitoring. Digital data proficiency a plus.
✅ Experience with aseptic suspension cell culture methods, including sterile media and solution preparation is preferred.
✅ Experience in molecular biology techniques (eg: SDS-PAGE/western blotting, plasmid cloning, gene expression assays, etc) is preferred.
✅ Experience with viral vector production is preferred, but not essential.
✅ Organizational, record keeping, and communication skills.
