Coriell is looking to hire a skilled and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to design,
develop, and implement advanced AI models and intelligent systems for a variety of business and
technology applications. This role involves working across multiple domains of machine intelligence, including machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, and Agentic AI systems, to create scalable and high-performing AI-driven solutions.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance service delivery, automate decision-making, and support product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement artificial intelligence and machine learning models for diverse applications.
- Research and apply advanced AI techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, computer vision, and Agentic AI frameworks.
- Design and develop autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, task execution, tool usage, and multi-step decision-making.
- Build and orchestrate multi-agent systems that interact with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and external tools.
- Develop AI-powered workflows using large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), memory systems, and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Train, evaluate, and optimize AI models for accuracy, scalability, efficiency, interpretability, and autonomous task performance.
- Design and maintain AI system architectures, including data pipelines, model workflows, APIs, vector databases, and integration components.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and intelligent process optimization.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve model and agent performance, reliability, and response quality.
- Deploy AI and Agentic AI solutions into production environments while ensuring scalability, security, stability, and seamless integration with existing systems.
- Monitor AI system performance and continuously improve solutions based on feedback, analytics, and operational metrics.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in AI governance, responsible AI, security, and software engineering.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, LLM ecosystems, autonomous agent frameworks, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ Years Experience (Full-time Equivalent Preferred) with AI/ML frameworks and technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar tools.
- 2+ Years Experience (Full-time Equivalent Preferred) developing and deploying Agentic AI applications and autonomous AI workflows using large language models (LLMs).
- Previous Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, databases, vector stores, and enterprise platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, memory architectures, and AI orchestration techniques.
- Experience designing and deploying machine learning models and AI agents in production environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, scalable distributed systems, and MLOps practices.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, optimization techniques, and model evaluation methods.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile or product-driven environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation
The starting salary for this role is $100,000. The position is eligible for common health & welfare benefits, participation in our 403(b) plan, a 7% Month Contribution to a 401(a), 20 days of PTO, 10+ Paid Holidays, and 7 Paid Sick days per year. The role would be afforded a suite of employer-paid life and disability insurance, which is available for all full-time employees.
