This role owns the end-to-end diagnostics strategy, from field failure signals through root cause, tooling, metrics, and design feedback. The mission is to improve diagnostics efficiency and quality through automation and process improvement, while ensuring that recurring service issues consistently translate into durable design and process fixes. You’ll represent service and diagnostics at a senior level in design reviews, architecture discussions, and reliability forums, using data to influence product direction and operational priorities.
You are accountable for the diagnostics roadmap, organizational execution, and the metrics that drive reliability, serviceability, and repair decisions across the company.

Analyze fleet-wide failure patterns to identify systemic issues and prioritize engineering and design investments
Represent diagnostics and service at a senior level in design reviews, architecture discussions, and cross-functional planning forums
Partner with hardware, electrical, controls, software, manufacturing, and service leadership to ensure recurring issues result in tracked design or process changes
Ensure diagnostic guidance, known-issue interpretations, and recommended procedures are documented, versioned, and consistently applied
Own adoption and rollout of new diagnostic tools and procedures across service teams
Act as an escalation owner for high-severity and safety-critical diagnostic issues
Strong systems-level expertise across mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software domains
Demonstrated experience owning diagnostics, reliability, or service tooling for complex electromechanical systems
Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and managers
Strong data fluency, including defining metrics, analyzing trends, and driving decisions from data
