Job Title: Research Scientist (Mammalian Cell Culture Expert)
Location: Lexington, MA
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
TOP SKILLS PER MANAGER:
- Strong experience in Mammalian cell culture is required.
- Post-degree wet lab experience in industry, expertise in cellular and molecular biology is essential (cell culture, cell-based assay, qPCR), Experience with in vivo methodologies; strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with in vitro biology techniques is essential.
- Hands-on experience performing PCR and qPCR assays is required.
- Previous animal handling experience is desired.
- Familiarity with RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) workflows is preferred.
- Experience with RNA-seq library preparation is highly desirable.
- In-vivo experience is required.
Qualifications:
- PhD with 1+ year Industry experience in cell or molecular biology (or a related field) - experience must be post-degree experience preferably in drug discovery and in an industry setting
- Expertise in cellular and molecular biology is essential (e.g., mammalian cell culture; cell-based assays; qPCR)
- Experience with RNA-seq, library preparation and immunoprecipitation-based workflow are desired
- Proficiency in animal handling, dosing, and necropsy is desired.
