Role: Data Scientist
Location: Saint Louis, MO 63146 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (may be extended)
Job Summary
The Data Scientist builds analytical products to improve business processes. Responsibilities include:
- Developing algorithms for automation
- Building predictive models
- Designing experiments
- Performing causal inference using observational data
- Applying mathematical optimization to identify profitable business policies
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive adoption of analytical products
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree in a Statistical or Mathematical field such as:
- Engineering
- Social Science
- Statistics
Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of experience with:
- Predictive modeling
- Statistical inference
- Quantitative analysis
- Experience with:
- TensorFlow
- PyTorch
- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in:
- Python and/or R
- Experience with:
- Data exploration and visualization
- Linux/Unix environments
- SQL
- Data preparation, merging, recoding, and transformation
- Working with observational data for causal inference (matching, weighting, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate (PhD) in a Statistical or Mathematical field
- Experience designing experiments
