We’re working with an early-stage AI startup building next-generation systems for interactive 3D environments and game creation. They’re looking for a strong Research Engineer to join the founding team and help push the boundaries of world generation, multimodal systems, and real-time AI infrastructure.
You’ll work across applied research and production engineering, helping design and scale systems that generate immersive 3D worlds, simulations, and interactive experiences.
What you’ll work on:
- Distributed multi-agent systems for world and environment generation
- Reinforcement learning pipelines for adaptive gameplay and simulations
- Large-scale multimodal training and inference systems
- Agentic code generation and diffusion-based tooling
- Real-time generation infrastructure and optimization
- Scalable data pipelines for vision and 3D workloads
What we’re looking for:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience building or training large-scale AI systems
- Background in multimodal models, agents, RL, computer vision, or generative AI
- Experience with distributed systems or large-scale training pipelines
- Ability to move fast in a highly iterative startup environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with diffusion models or generative vision systems
- Background in robotics, simulation, or multi-agent systems
- Familiarity with game engines or 3D frameworks
- Prior startup experience
