We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Active Segmentation initiative. In this role, you will design and implement advanced segmentation models that drive actionable business outcomes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy data-driven segmentation models to support active business use cases.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Build, validate, and optimize machine learning models for customer or entity segmentation.
- Partners with business, product, and engineering teams to convert requirements into analytical solutions.
- Monitor model performance and continuously refine segmentation strategies based on new data and evolving business needs.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and results to ensure transparency and stakeholder alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong experience with segmentation techniques such as clustering, classification, and behavioral analysis.
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and common data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn).
- Experience working with large datasets and building or supporting data pipelines.
- Solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data validation techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $130,000 to $150,000 Yearly. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.
