Location: United States · California, USA · San Jose, CA, USA
About the Opportunity:
Our client is an AI robotics company developing a general-purpose humanoid robot designed for both commercial tasks and home environments. With a bold vision to deploy autonomous humanoids at global scale & building the data foundation that powers one of the most ambitious robotics platforms in the world.
This is a fully in-office, five days-a-week collaborative environment for those who are ready to build at the frontier of embodied AI.
As an AI Engineer focused on Data Infrastructure, you'll take the AI data infrastructure to the next level by building tools and software components that offload, store, manipulate, and provide access to robot data at massive scale. You'll manage on-premise and cloud resources, implement optimal data transmission and storage solutions across every stage of the data pipeline, and provide production support for the infrastructure that directly feeds neural network training and AI research workflows. The ideal candidate brings proven experience building tools and infrastructure for large-scale autonomous or deep learning systems.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain tools and software components that offload, store, manipulate, and provide access to robot data across the full data lifecycle
- Architect and manage storage and compute resources across on-premise and cloud environments at massive scale
- Implement optimal data transmission and storage solutions for all stages of the data pipeline from robot recording through to neural network training
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers to support new and evolving data workflows as the platform and research needs grow
What Are We Looking For?
