Overview
We are seeking an innovative and technically curious AI Engineer to help design and build intelligent systems that connect data, platforms, and workflows. In this role, you will develop AI-powered applications, integrate modern large language model (LLM) technologies, and architect solutions that allow systems to communicate seamlessly.
You will work at the intersection of software engineering, AI development, and system integration, helping translate complex problems into scalable solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building practical AI tools—from automation workflows to conversational interfaces—while ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.
You will collaborate internally with a close-knit team of data engineers to prototype, deploy, and maintain AI-driven applications that drive meaningful business outcomes for our clients.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop applications powered by large language models (LLMs) and natural language interfaces.
- Build and maintain backend services using Python and JavaScript to power AI-enabled products and integrations.
- Develop and deploy cloud-based AI solutions using AWS infrastructure and services.
- Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party platforms to create systems that connect data and automate workflows.
- Prototype conversational interfaces such as chatbots, copilots, and natural language tools.
- Implement approaches such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or knowledge grounding to improve AI response quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate product requirements and business needs into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security for AI-driven applications.
- Document architecture, integrations, and processes to support scalability and future development.
What You Bring
- 4-5 years of software engineering or AI development experience.
- Strong programming experience in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms.
- Experience building or supporting data integrations, API-driven systems, or automation workflows.
- Familiarity with natural language interfaces, chatbots, or conversational AI systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design systems that connect multiple platforms and datasets.
- Ability to move between architecture design and hands-on development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and practical applications.
