The team is developing intelligent automation tools that help clinics manage complex insurance processes, allowing healthcare professionals to spend more time delivering care rather than handling paperwork.
They’re looking for an experienced AI/ML engineer to help design and build the next generation of autonomous AI systems that streamline insurance-related workflows.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop AI-driven systems that automate complex healthcare administrative processes
- Build specialized machine learning agents for tasks such as document classification, issue diagnosis, and automated response generation
- Design and optimize multi-agent workflows and retrieval-based AI systems
- Establish evaluation methods, monitoring, and feedback mechanisms to improve model and agent performance over time
- Work cross-functionally with operational teams and engineers to deploy and maintain production-grade infrastructure
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production environments
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
- Hands-on experience working with large language models, including prompt design, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Understanding of vector databases, semantic search systems, and ML infrastructure / MLOps practices
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment and tackling ambiguous technical challenges
