Joyful Health deploy AI agents to make sure that clinics stay in business and that doctors can focus on practicing medicine. Doctors can spend twice as much time dealing with insurance than actually serving communities. We're fixing that.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build architecture for an agentic AI system for insurance claim denials
- Develop specialized AI agents for classification, root cause analysis, and appeal generation
- Implement multi-agent orchestration and optimize RAG systems.
- Create evaluation frameworks and feedback loops for agent performance
- Collaborate with billing managers and engineering teams on production infrastructure.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in ML engineering and building production AI systems.
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Experience with LLM technologies (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG)
- Knowledge of vector databases, semantic search, and MLOps practices
- Passion for the mission and ability to lead in ambiguous startup environments.
