Position: Senior Generative AI Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ (Local Candidates, Hybrid Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months contract

Key Responsibilities

Enable GenAI capabilities for Wells Fargo’s enterprise development community.
Identify, evaluate, and productionize GenAI tools.
Explore and integrate AI technologies such as Agents and MCP Servers.
Build and support internal AI-powered tools and applications.
Implement modern engineering practices including automated testing and release strategies.

Required Experience/Skills

10+ years of software development and architecture experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI development tools (at least one of: GitHub CoPilot, Coding Agent, Claude, Gemini Code Assist, Devin).
Strong Java development skills.

Preferred/Additional Skills

1+ years of experience with AI Agent and MCP Server development (nice to have).
Strong Python experience (nice to have).
TypeScript experience (nice to have).
