The Salesforce Developer role is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic development team. Our team contributes to hosted services in AWS within the Platform Engineering organization as well as Salesforce development of packaged and productized solutions. Our goal is to ensure feature design, architecture, and delivery are in accordance with established industry best practices for building global, scalable, and extensible multi-tenant cloud services, meeting Komodo Health’s product, regulatory, and industry requirements.

- Worked with Engineering leads across the engineering organization contributing to technical decision-making required to facilitate ongoing development of products.
- Worked on the Design, architecture, and delivery of global, fault-tolerant, highly-available cloud services utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, React and various AWS services and products
- Contributed to Salesforce product and managed package development in a multi-tenant environment
- Updated on latest architectural and design best practices
- Mentored junior engineers in programming technologies, tools, and processes.
- Designed maintainable code with extensive test coverage, worked in a professional software engineering environment (with source control, dev/stage/prod release cycle, continuous deployment).
- Managed the architecture and development of integrations between hosted services and customer Salesforce instances.
- Supported end to end effort related SDLC Process Management, Safety & Soundness, Governance and application/environment Issue resolution.
- Ensured quality, security and compliance requirements are met.
- Planned, conducted, and monitored product releases.
- Stayed up to date on the most recent industry standard implementation details regarding AWS, Salesforce, and other relevant technologies.

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…
- Salesforce development of features using best industry design patterns in Apex and LWC
- Salesforce managed package development, including Second Generation Packages (2GP)
- Package development using CumulusCI and Salesforce DX–based workflows (Scratch Orgs, unlocked packages)
- Use Git-based version control systems beyond basic usage, supporting collaborative development and code reviews
- Monitor and troubleshoot services hosted in AWS
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and demonstrate working knowledge of DevOps and deployment processes
- Mentor junior developers in industry best practices
- Serverless stack experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon EventBridge
What you bring to Komodo Health:
- Extensive experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to analyze technical requirements and deliver well-architected, global, fault-tolerant, highly available cloud services
- Extensive engineering experience utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, React, and data stores such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Salesforce managed packages, with a minimum of 2+ years of Second Generation Package (2GP) development
- Experience working with vendor software, technologies, and tools for enterprise solutions
- Deep understanding of Agile development practices and secure application development concepts (OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, etc.)
- Ability to design and implement integrations using standard patterns (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and modern delivery systems (Git, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders
