Fast-growing robotics innovator, is seeking an AI Engineer – Robotics to lead the design and development of next-generation data, machine learning, and inference infrastructure for intelligent robotic systems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of end-to-end data and ML pipelines for sensor, video, and telemetry data powering real-time robotics and vision systems.
- Design scalable, reliable data infrastructure including schema design, data lineage, validation, and anomaly detection for embedded AI.
- Integrate edge intelligence, observability, and feedback loops into robotic perception systems.
- Set technical direction and best practices for ML engineering, infrastructure, and deployment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align architecture with product goals and real-world use cases.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams in data engineering, AI/ML, and cloud architecture best practices.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in data infrastructure, ML systems, or AI engineering at scale.
- Expertise in Python, Scala, or Java and modern data frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Airflow.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven ability to design and scale data and ML systems supporting complex, real-time environments.
- Solid understanding of feature stores, model deployment, and AI observability.
