About the Role

As the Head of AI, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for shaping our AI vision, strategy, and implementation. You will lead a talented team of AI engineers, data scientists, and ML researchers to build intelligent applications that streamline processes, predict demand, optimize inventory, and personalize customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

Develop and Drive AI Strategy: Define and execute a strategic roadmap for AI initiatives that align with Super Arbor's business goals and create a measurable impact across product offerings, operations, and customer experience.
Lead AI Development: Oversee the development of innovative AI applications using advanced machine learning models, natural language processing, and predictive analytics. Lead projects focused on demand forecasting, order management automation, and intelligent customer support.
Build and Manage a World-Class AI Team: Attract, mentor, and retain top AI talent. Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment where team members can grow and innovate, driving continuous improvement in our AI capabilities.
Promote AI Best Practices: Establish robust processes, standards, and best practices for model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Ensure high-quality, scalable solutions with a strong focus on performance and efficiency.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate complex business needs into AI-powered solutions. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on AI initiatives.
Innovate with Emerging AI Technologies: Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, exploring new techniques and architectures that can be applied to Super Arbor’s challenges. Drive research and experimentation to keep our technology stack competitive.

Deep Technical Expertise: You bring extensive experience in AI and machine learning, with hands-on knowledge of LLMs, NLP, deep learning, and data-driven solutions. You can dive deep into technical problems while also thinking about the bigger picture.
Experienced with Scaling AI in Production: You have a proven track record of successfully deploying AI models in large-scale production environments, with experience optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Data-Driven and Outcome-Oriented: You have a strong focus on metrics and measurable outcomes, leveraging data to inform decision-making and continuously improve AI models and systems.
Inspirational Leader and Mentor: You are skilled in building, leading, and mentoring diverse AI teams, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and excellence.
Effective Communicator: You excel at articulating complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in deploying and scaling AI-driven products, ideally in e-commerce, marketplace, or similar industries.
Strong background in LLMs, NLP, deep learning, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with ML Ops and AI infrastructure best practices.
Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
