Job Description
Clearbrook is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Vice President, Data & AI Strategy to lead the development and execution of a modern, enterprise-wide data and AI capability. This role sits within the AIDA (AI, Data & Analytics) organization and will play a critical role in enabling scalable, data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
The SVP will partner closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to establish best-in-class data governance, advance data strategy, and unlock value from data and AI investments.
This is a 100% in-office position. Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.
Essential Responsibilities:
Enterprise Data Governance & Strategy
- Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide data governance framework and operating model
- Establish and ensure clear ownership, standards, and processes to ensure high-quality, trusted, and consistent data across the organization
- Drive adoption of governance practices across key business domains, including Policy, Claims, Finance, Pricing, Compliance, and other key areas
- Collaborate with data stewards, data engineers, and data analysts to create, populate, and maintain a centralized data dictionary and standardized business definitions
- Embed governance into core business and technology workflows to support efficient, scalable operations
External Data Strategy & Integration
- Define and execute a holistic strategy for sourcing and leveraging external data
- Identify and partner with leading data providers aligned to business priorities
- Accelerate integration of external data into the enterprise data ecosystem (e.g., data platforms, cloud environments)
- Ensure consistent governance, documentation, and effective use of external data assets
- Partner across the broader ecosystem to unlock new data opportunities and insights
Master Data Management (MDM) & Entity Strategy
- Establish and lead an enterprise-wide master data management capability for core data domains
- Define ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle processes for master data
- Align master data capabilities with key business use cases, including underwriting, claims, finance, and AI initiatives
AIDA Program Leadership
- Lead program management across the AIDA portfolio to drive execution excellence and transparency
- Establish standardized intake, prioritization, and delivery frameworks for data and AI initiatives
- Provide enterprise-wide visibility into program status, risks, and outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across business, IT, data engineering, analytics, and AI teams
- Ensure strong alignment with executive stakeholders and enterprise priorities
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data strategy, data governance, or enterprise data leadership
- 8+ years of people leadership experience, including building and leading high-performing teams
- Proven track record of implementing enterprise data governance or data management programs
- Experience within insurance, financial services, or a related industry preferred
- Strong background in master data management, data architecture, or data platforms

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
NYC Pay Range: $255,000 - $350,000
