Kforce has a client that is seeking a Market Research Analyst in Redmond, WA. Summary: The team is seeking a contract Market Research Analyst to support the execution of quantitative research studies. This role will focus on survey development and programming, data processing and crosstab analysis, and development of clear, insight-driven reports. The ideal candidate combines strong technical execution skills with a foundational understanding of survey design and the ability to manage timelines independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Survey Design & Programming:
- Develop initial drafts of survey questionnaires aligned to research objectives
- Apply best practices in survey design including question clarity, logical flow, and avoidance of bias
- Program surveys using standard platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher), including logic, piping, and randomization
- Conduct thorough QA to ensure survey accuracy and a seamless respondent experience
Data Processing & Crosstab Development:
- Clean and prepare datasets for analysis (coding, recoding, variable setup)
- Build structured crosstabs aligned to the analysis plan and business questions
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across cuts and key variables
- Identify and flag anomalies or data quality issues
Analysis & Insights Support:
- Execute defined analysis plans using descriptive statistics and basic analytical techniques
- Analyze crosstabs to identify key differences, trends, and meaningful patterns
- Validate findings against hypotheses and flag unexpected results
- Support development of clear, data-backed insights tied to business needs
Reporting & Deliverables:
- Develop draft reports (PowerPoint or Word) summarizing key findings
- Translate data into clear, concise insights with supporting evidence
- Build charts and tables that simplify complex information for stakeholders
- Iterate on deliverables based on feedback
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of experience in market research or analytics
- Strong experience with survey programming platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher)
- Experience drafting surveys and applying basic survey design principles
- Experience with statistical tools (SPSS, R, or similar)
- Experience working with large-scale survey datasets
- Experience creating research reports and data visualizations
- Proficiency in Excel (crosstabs, pivot tables, data cleaning)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proven ability to manage timelines and communicate proactively
Best vs. Average:
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, market research, consumer insights, project coordination, or a related field
- Background in advertiser, marketing, or technology research
- Familiarity with quantitative methods (e.g., segmentation, regression, weighting)
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities and experience using tools such as SPSS, R, or similar research/analytics platforms
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to complete a skills-based assessment as part of the selection process
- Portfolio or relevant work samples preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
