About the job:
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) in the gUP TSI Program Management Office (PMO), you will focus on complex, cross-functional programs critical to gUP's top priorities. You will take ownership of significant initiatives, spanning areas like the Generative AI-powered Ask Google Help, enhancing agentic UserVoice feedback systems, or building critical tools and platforms for Google's Partners. Your responsibilities involve establishing project plans, tracking progress against milestones, managing risks and dependencies, and facilitating clear communication across global teams.
In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).
