About the Role
This role is ideal for a student who enjoys researching markets, understanding consumer behavior, analyzing competitors, and turning information into clear insights.
You will help our team explore new opportunities by gathering and organizing real market data — including customer needs, trends, competitors, pricing, product gaps, and potential demand.
This is not just online searching. We are looking for someone who can think critically, find reliable information, analyze patterns, and communicate what the data actually means.
Schedule: Part-time (2–3 days per week, flexible hours based on availability)
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with market, competitor, and product research based on assigned directions
• Collect and organize data from reviews, surveys, social media, websites, reports, and other sources
• Maintain research spreadsheets, documents, and organized data folders
• Summarize findings, patterns, and insights into clear reports for team review
• Support customer research projects including surveys and feedback analysis
• Communicate research progress, findings, and questions clearly with the team
Requirements
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, Psychology, Consumer Research, or related fields
• Curious about consumer products, brands, startups, and market trends
• Strong research skills with the ability to collect information from multiple sources
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), including formulas, data organization and manipulation
• Strong analytical thinking — able to turn information into insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to work independently and communicate progress clearly
• Comfortable using generative AI tools (like ChatGPT or Claude) to optimize daily workflows. Must know how to write specific, context-rich instructions
Nice to Have
• Experience conducting surveys or customer research
• Basic data analysis experience
• Experience with research tools, databases, or analytics platforms
• Understanding of e-commerce, DTC brands, or consumer products
