Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to support a State Government Transportation client. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions leveraging Snowflake’s data platform to improve transportation systems, analytics, and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML models for transportation use cases such as traffic prediction, route optimization, and demand forecasting
- Work extensively with Snowflake for data storage, transformation, and analytics
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and cloud-native tools
- Implement Snowflake Snowpark for advanced data processing and ML workloads
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and transportation stakeholders
- Deploy ML models into production using MLOps best practices
- Perform data analysis on large-scale transportation datasets (traffic, GPS, IoT, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with government data security and governance standards
- Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy
Required Skills
- Strong experience in AI/ML development (Regression, Classification, NLP, Time Series)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (Snowpark, Streams, Tasks, Data Sharing)
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Experience with SQL and data modeling
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience with MLOps tools (CI/CD, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with State Government or Public Sector projects
- Domain knowledge in Transportation / Traffic Systems / Smart Mobility
- Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, streaming pipelines)
- Familiarity with GIS data and geospatial analytics
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
