Required Skills:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience developing large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
- Proven expertise in Python, with strong object-oriented programming and application design skills.
- Hands-on experience working with Postgres and building web applications.
- Deep understanding of Generative AI solutions, including AWS Bedrock and MCP.
- Expertise in prompt engineering and best practices for AI model deployment.
- Skilled in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong debugging, testing, and optimization abilities.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based deployment.
- Leadership experience managing both on-shore and off-shore engineering teams.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with LLMs and microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of SOA principles and enterprise software design.
- Professional certifications in cloud or AI technologies.
- Interest in learning new tools, languages, and development workflows.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, IT, or engineering.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not required.
Other Requirements:
- This role involves 2 days onsite at our client’s facility in either Holmdel, NJ or Jersey City, NJ. Flexibility to adapt to project needs is essential.
