Design, specify and/or develop technical specifications for configuration, repair, operation and maintenance of airplanes, engines and components. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions- Troubleshooting assistance, evaluating airworthiness directives, preparing specifications and manuals, and providing engineering consultation and reports.

Minimum EducationBachelor's degree in engineering. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum ExperienceFive (5) years' related aircraft engineering experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong analytical, communication and technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications: This posting is for a position within the Powerplant Engineering team. Prior engineering experience with commercial high-bypass turbo-fan engines is highly preferred. A calculus-based Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or equivalent) is required. Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering is preferred.
Strong technical writing and communication skills are preferred
