We're conducting a confidential search for a well funded, product-focused AI company building production systems powered by frontier large language models.
This is an opportunity to join a small, high calibre engineering team solving technically challenging problems across LLM infrastructure, agentic workflows, retrieval systems, model evaluation and scalable AI applications.
We're looking for engineers who have built production AI systems, not just prototypes, and who enjoy working at the intersection of machine learning, distributed systems and software engineering.
Responsibilities
As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll design, build and deploy production AI systems that leverage the latest advances in large language models and agentic architectures.
You'll work across:
- Production LLM applications
- Multi agent systems
- Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Tool calling and function orchestration
- Model evaluation and benchmarking
- Prompt optimisation
- Inference pipelines
- Backend services and APIs
- AI platform architecture
- Performance optimisation, latency reduction and scalability
You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering and research teams to rapidly iterate on new capabilities and deliver production ready AI solutions.
