We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Analytics & Strategy to lead a high-performing team of analysts and serve as a strategic thought partner to Product, Engineering, and executive leadership. This role goes beyond measurement: you'll help shape where Front invests, what we build, and how we make high-stakes decisions — using data, AI, and strong strategic judgment.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who sets direction, operates independently, and influences at the most senior levels while staying close to the work. At Front, we expect everyone to bring a strong degree of AI fluency, and this role is no exception.
What you'll do:
Lead and develop a team of product analysts, including coaching, hiring, and setting a high standard for analytical quality and strategic impact.
Drive product strategy through data — not just measuring what happened, but synthesizing insights to inform where we should invest, what we should build, and what we should stop doing. Specifically, help drive our AI product strategy through the data lens.
Own product measurement strategy across key surfaces, funnels, and customer journeys. Define success metrics, guardrails, and instrumentation expectations in service of clear strategic goals.
Partner with senior leaders in Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM to shape roadmap priorities, evaluate strategic tradeoffs, and help the organization make high-quality bets with data.
Translate ambiguous, open-ended strategic questions into structured analyses, clear recommendations, and durable frameworks the business can act on repeatedly.
Build scalable analytics systems, including experimentation practices (A/B testing), self-serve reporting, and data quality processes that enable faster, more confident decisions.
Actively leverage AI tools and shepherd AI adoption to accelerate your team's work — from faster analysis and insight generation to building smarter, more automated data workflows.
Tell compelling stories with data for executive audiences — with a point of view, not just charts.
What skills and experience do you need?
Strong product strategy instincts backed by analytics: you've gone beyond reporting to actively shape product direction, challenge assumptions, and influence roadmap decisions with data.
Experience working at the intersection of product analytics and product strategy — you're comfortable in roadmap reviews, strategy offsites, and build/buy/partner conversations, not just analytical deep-dives.
Strong product analytics foundation: you have owned product metrics, funnel analysis, retention/cohort work, and north-star measurement in a product-led environment. Preference for experience in customer-facing products.
2–3+ years of people management experience, with a track record of growing and retaining high-performing teams.
Experience partnering with executives and senior cross-functional leaders, and influencing decisions without relying on formal authority.
Strong judgment on data quality, instrumentation, and metric definitions (you know when the data is wrong, and how to fix it).
Experience building or scaling experimentation programs.
Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals, and experience working with modern analytics tooling (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Mode, Omni or similar).
High AI fluency: you actively use AI tools in your day-to-day work — for analysis, writing, data exploration, or workflow automation — and you bring a point of view on how AI can raise the bar for your team's output and speed.
Excellent communication skills: you can make complex, ambiguous strategic questions understandable and useful for any audience.
