The Data Scientist plays a critical role in advancing data-driven strategy by delivering end-to-end analytical solutions that generate measurable business impact. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and analytics peers to translate complex business questions into predictive models, insights, and ROI analyses that directly influence program design, execution, and commercial strategy.
As a mature, data-centric organization, we rely on this role to evaluate pharmacy and pharma programs, support pre-sales initiatives, and strengthen analytics capabilities across multiple business pillars. The Data Scientist operates in a fast-moving, highly visible environment and is expected to work independently while staying deeply connected to the business.
What you’ll do:
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the design, recommendation, and application of analytical methodologies and data science approaches
• Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models that drive business value, including:
o Customer and market behavior modeling
o Patient engagement and likelihood scoring
o Program effectiveness and uplift measurement
o New data product discovery initiatives
• Support pharma pre-sales analytics and program design, including brand-specific and digital engagement campaigns
• Produce mature ROI analyses to evaluate and optimize pharmacy and pharma programs
• Identify business needs and growth opportunities using SQL, Python, R, and internal dashboards
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives for business leaders and executive audiences
• Maintain, debug, test, and document analytical models and data science workflows
• Partner with sales and growth teams to deliver data-led insights that support commercial conversations
• Contribute to monitoring, pipeline analytics, and ongoing optimization initiatives across business programs
The ideal candidate
• Strong experience with SQL and Python or R
• Hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets and advanced analytics
• Demonstrated ability to build and operationalize machine learning models that support real-world business decisions
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehouses
• Proven ability to simplify complex analytics and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Independent, proactive, and commercially minded problem solver comfortable working directly with the business
• Experience supporting client-facing, sales, or pre-sales conversations with data and insights
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools
• Experience in the pharma, pharmacy, healthcare, or life sciences domain
• Familiarity with ROI modeling, uplift analysis, or likelihood scoring
Education & experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
