We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a leading consulting practice. This role is focused on moving beyond AI experimentation to delivering production-ready, scalable architectures that provide genuine ROI for Tier 1 global clients.
The ideal candidate will combine technical mastery with the ability to manage high-level stakeholders and navigate complex business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Transformation: Deliver complex AI transformations for global clients, ensuring all technical solutions align with overarching business strategies and financial objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Direct the development of sophisticated deep learning architectures, focusing on model optimisation and error reduction for real-time applications.
- Infrastructure & Deployment: Architect and deploy machine learning models as microservices within AWS and Azure environments.
- Pipeline Automation: Implement and manage automated ETL pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and model reliability.
- Mentorship & Diversity: Act as a technical mentor for junior engineers and contribute to internal diversity initiatives to support the growth of women in STEM.
Requirements
- PhD or MSc in Machine Learning or similar
- Proven track record within a Big 4 or top-tier consulting environment.
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, and Microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding of deep learning architectures and real-time model deployment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
