Senior Research Scientist: The ideal candidate will be PhD trained in a quantitative field such as operations research, statistics, data science, computer science, et cetera, and have 3+ years of experience publishing quantitative analysis papers in medical or other peer-reviewed journals. Provide senior scientific, operational, and supervisory leadership for an expanding portfolio of transplant-focused operations research within the Center for Surgical and Transplant Applied Research (CSTAR). This role is responsible for overseeing the work of research staff, ensuring consistency and rigor across multiple concurrent studies, and serving as a key point of continuity across projects.
Research Scientist: The ideal candidate will have a PhD or Masters degree in a quantitative field such as operations research, statistics, data science, health informatics, et cetera, and strong programming, data analysis, and scientific writing skills. The person in this role will design and execute quantitative analyses, write reports, abstracts and manuscripts under faculty supervision, support grant proposals and communication with other researchers and staff.
Data Analyst: The ideal candidates will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field such as operations research, data science, statistics, computer science, or similar, and experience conducting high-quality research analysis including programming and statistical studies for healthcare applications. In this role, you will perform exploratory data studies, help build discrete event simulators, and conduct analyses using transplant registry data, under the supervision of the Center of Surgical and Transplant Applied Research (C-Star) leadership team.
