Role Summary
You will shape the infrastructure layer of the intelligent grid, starting at the transformer. You will architect and manage hybrid infrastructure across edge Linux devices, cloud platforms, and internal systems. You will own DevOps from the edge to the cloud and support CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, secure OTA updates, and container orchestration. The role also manages monitoring, logging, alerting, and cloud security. You will work alongside software, hardware, and AI teams on high-impact, cross-functional projects to optimize performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
-
Architect and manage hybrid infrastructure across edge Linux devices, cloud platforms (e.g. AWS), and internal systems.
-
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying firmware, edge applications, ML models, and cloud services.
-
Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki) for high speed data applications.
-
Automate provisioning and configuration of edge devices using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
-
Support secure OTA (over-the-air) updates, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code.
-
Implement networking, access controls, and cloud security best practices for sensitive energy data.
-
Collaborate with software, data, and AI teams to optimize infrastructure for performance and reliability
- Lay out a strategy for cloud data management strategy for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
-
Relevant education background (Graduation/Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical engineering) or equivalent understanding of the Operating systems, Software Design principles, Foundational knowledge of hardware to build software systems.
-
5+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Infra Engineering experience in a hybrid (edge + cloud) environment.
-
Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm).
-
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo).
-
Comfortable working on Linux systems, especially in constrained edge environments (e.g. Jetson, Raspberry Pi).
-
Strong grasp of networking fundamentals, VPNs, and TLS cert management.
-
Bonus: Experience with IoT platforms, ML ops pipelines, or high-availability energy systems.
-
Ability to travel up to 20% including internationally
