NVIDIA is searching for outstanding software engineers to join the Windows DevOps and Test Labs (WDTL) software team. As a WDTL engineer, you will be building and maintaining the systems, tools and infrastructure required to support and verify the DirectX driver software on our broad family of GPUs. A key part of this role involves hands-on management of our automated test lab, ensuring our fleet of test machines is healthy, up to date, and ready to validate drivers across a wide range of hardware configurations. You will support the evolving technologies of our GPU product cycles, including new operating systems, DirectX, HW features and other derivative GPU technologies. You will help NVIDIA deliver high quality graphics drivers and innovative products that continue to make us a world leader in visual computing.
What you'll be doing:
Maintaining and operating a lab of automated testing machines, including system imaging, hardware triage, network configuration, and infrastructure uptime
Building tools and systems to support automated testing and improve the software engineering process
Build and improve driver verification infrastructure to advance the speed and effectiveness of automated testing
Support hardware bringup activities for new GPU products, coordinating early driver validation on pre-release silicon
Work with various business units launching testing and automation on Windows platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and OS-level issues across the test lab environment
Applying DevOps principles to improve our systems and processes
Be part of a distributed team of highly skilled and expert engineers
What we need to see:
B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
As a skilled developer with at least 3+ years proven experience and you will have at least one scripting language: Perl, PHP or Python
Application development skills in C# or a similar compiled language (C++, Java, Go), with experience building tools, services, or automation frameworks. C# is ideal
Knowledge of Windows operating system internals (kernel, drivers, registry, imaging, deployment tools)
Experience with source control systems
Familiarity with databases, SQL, or full stack development a plus
Background with tools development and automated test frameworks a plus
Experience with hardware product bringup or pre-release silicon validation a plus
Experience automating Windows image creation and deployment for test environments a strong plus
Hands-on experience managing or maintaining a lab environment of physical test machines a plus

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 189,750 USD.
