About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Director, Global AI Capacity Planning to lead end-to-end planning for Nscale’s AI infrastructure capacity build-out.
This role is responsible for translating megawatt (MW) growth, GPU allocations, and customer commitments into executable material, deployment, and capacity plans across global data center environments. This is hyperscale AI capacity planning — requiring tight integration across Infrastructure, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain functions.
You will own the global capacity roadmap, executive S&OP cadence, constrained allocation modeling, and long-range infrastructure readiness strategy to support rapid AI demand growth.
What you'll be doing
Integrated Business & Capacity Planning

Lead integrated business planning across GPU supply allocations, rack integration capacity, network fabric deployment, and power & cooling infrastructure readiness.

Translate MW expansion plans into rack counts, GPU node volumes, network switch quantities, and electrical equipment demand.

Drive and maintain a rolling 12–24 month global capacity roadmap.
Executive S&OP & Cross-Functional Leadership

Lead executive S&OP cadence with CEO, CFO, Infrastructure, and Commercial leaders.

Align customer commitments and revenue growth with infrastructure deployment timelines.

Surface trade-offs, constraints, and risk mitigation strategies to executive stakeholders.
Constrained Allocation & Scenario Modeling

Own constrained allocation modeling across GPUs, network switches, transformers, and long-lead infrastructure components.

Conduct scenario planning for accelerated AI demand spikes and rapid commercial growth.

Develop models to balance utilization, availability, and capital efficiency.
Strategic Sourcing & Deployment Readiness

Partner with Strategic Sourcing on capacity reservations, long-term supplier agreements, and risk mitigation strategies.

Build deployment readiness models by site to ensure on-time infrastructure activation.

Monitor supply risk and proactively mitigate deployment bottlenecks.

About You

10+ years of experience in capacity planning, infrastructure strategy, supply chain planning, or large-scale operations leadership.

Experience operating in hyperscale, cloud infrastructure, semiconductor, AI, or hardware-intensive environments.

Strong understanding of GPU supply dynamics, networking infrastructure, racks, and power/cooling systems.

Proven experience leading executive-level S&OP processes and integrated business planning.

Strong financial acumen and capital planning experience.

Advanced modeling capabilities, including constrained allocation and scenario analysis.

Experience managing global infrastructure deployments across multiple sites.

Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.

Comfortable operating in ambiguity while scaling planning processes in high-growth environments.
