About the Role
Nscale is seeking a Director, Procurement – AI Infrastructure Execution to lead operational procurement execution and delivery management across our global AI infrastructure footprint.
This role is responsible for ensuring that critical infrastructure components arrive on time, at the right location, and in line with build schedules and budget expectations. While Strategic Sourcing leads supplier negotiations and commercial strategy, this team is accountable for purchase order execution, supplier delivery performance, risk management, and inbound coordination.
This position is key to maintaining build velocity, delivery predictability, and operational readiness across Nscale’s GPU, networking, rack integration, power, and cooling infrastructure programs.
What You'll be Doing
- Issue, manage, and track purchase orders (POs) for AI infrastructure components including:
- GPUs and compute platforms
- Networking hardware
- Rack integration services
- Power and cooling systems
- Own operational supplier execution against committed delivery schedules.
- Monitor supplier commits versus requested delivery dates and proactively identify gaps.
- Escalate delivery risks internally and externally to protect deployment timelines.
- Lead expedite decision-making, balancing cost, risk, and build impact.
- Coordinate inbound logistics, shipment tracking, and site delivery schedules across global locations.
- Partner with datacenter deployment, infrastructure, and logistics teams to ensure delivery readiness.
- Track and manage supplier OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance.
- Drive supplier performance accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure invoice accuracy and alignment to approved budgets and POs.
- Maintain delivery risk dashboards and provide executive-level visibility into material readiness.
- Establish scalable processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms to support rapid infrastructure growth.

About You (Skills / Qualifications)
- Significant experience in operational procurement, supply chain execution, or materials management within infrastructure, hardware, or datacenter environments.
- Proven track record managing high-value, high-volume hardware procurement programs.
- Strong understanding of supply chain execution versus strategic sourcing disciplines.
- Experience managing global suppliers with complex delivery schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to escalate and resolve delivery risks under time pressure.
- Strong financial discipline with experience managing PO accuracy, invoice validation, and budget controls.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, deployment, logistics, and finance teams.
- Data-driven mindset with ability to create and interpret delivery performance dashboards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at senior leadership level.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth AI infrastructure environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in AI infrastructure, GPU supply chains, or hyperscale datacenter environments.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
- Experience managing rack-level infrastructure, power, cooling, or networking supply chains.
- Background in scaling procurement operations in a high-growth technology company.
