Sonatus is seeking a highly motivated AI Engineer, New Graduate to join our team and help us accelerate software innovations for next-generation AI driven software-defined vehicles. We are passionate about putting our customers first and creating products that solve real-world problems.

12 weeks with a projected start date in early June.
Please note that we are only considering candidates who graduated in Spring 2026 and are local to the Bay Area, as this role follows a hybrid schedule with three in‑office days per week.
Duties and Responsibilities
Based on project priorities, the engineer may work in one or more areas, including but not limited to:
- Evaluate and compare state of art researches, technologies and solutions
- Evaluate and compare open-source tools and technologies
- Explore optimal approaches to various problems
- Implement and evaluate solutions to specific problems
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have graduated in Spring 2026 with a BS, MS, or PhD degree in any fields related to science, applied science, or engineering
- Strong software development fundamentals, hands on coding skills, and ability to use AI coding tools effectively
- Results-driven with a positive can-do attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Must be local to the bay area, or willing to relocate, and come into office 3 days/week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)

The posted salary range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what Sonatus ("Company") could reasonably expect to pay for a base salary for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.
