About the Role:
Title: Data Center Operations Manager (Mechanical / Electrical Engineer)
Location: Megalopoli, Arcadia, Greece
We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to lead the operations of our new data center. As the Data Center Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the complete physical infrastructure of the facility, ensuring 24/7 uptime, safety, and efficiency.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an engineer who thrives in mission-critical environments. You will be the ultimate owner of the site's mechanical, cooling, and electrical systems, leading a team of on-site technicians and defining the operational standards that will ensure our success.
What you will do:
Take full ownership of the data center's physical infrastructure, including all mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems.
Develop and implement operational procedures, maintenance plans, and incident response protocols (MOPs, SOPs, EOPs).
What you will need:
7+ years of hands-on experience in a mission-critical operational environment such as a power plant, industrial facility, marine vessel (engine room), or large-scale manufacturing.
Deep expertise in either industrial cooling systems (chillers, pumps, piping) OR high-availability electrical distribution (UPS, generators, switchgear).
