As we scale our team and operations, we’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking IT Systems Engineer with experience in security to ensure our infrastructure, internal tools, and support systems are secure, efficient, and AI-enhanced from day one.
As our IT Systems Engineer, you'll help manage the systems that power our entire team: provisioning, security, automation, cloud access, and more. You will empower every team member at You.com to do their best work by delivering reliable, responsive, and forward-thinking IT support.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first responder for IT support requests via ticketing systems, Slack, and email, triaging and resolving issues related to hardware, software, networking, and access.
- Configure and manage SSO (Single Sign-On), MDM (Mobile Device Management), and identity platforms.
- Administer and support Google Workspace, Microsoft Office/365, and collaboration tools such as Monday.com and Linear.
- Manage endpoint monitoring and patching using NinjaOne; ensure devices are secure, compliant, and up to date.
- Execute employee onboarding and offboarding processes: provisioning accounts, hardware setup, access permissions, and asset recovery.
- Provide basic support and access management for cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Databricks.
- Write and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash to streamline repetitive IT tasks such as user provisioning, log collection, system health checks, and reporting.
- Use GitHub (git) for version control of IT scripts, configuration files, and infrastructure-as-code artifacts; participate in code reviews and follow team branching strategies.
- Maintain IT documentation, runbooks, and the internal knowledge base to enable self-service and reduce ticket volume.
- Assist with IT security initiatives including access reviews, MFA enforcement, and compliance-related tasks.
- Track and manage hardware and software asset inventory.
- Partner with DevOps, Security, and People teams to support company growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Professional Certificate, or AWS Cloud Practitioner are valued.
- 0–2 years of professional IT support experience.
- Demonstrable Python and Bash scripting ability (personal projects, coursework, or professional experience).
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows.
- Understand how to use command line on Linux and MacOS
