About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive
Transform raw data into reliable, accessible, and actionable insights that empower business teams to make better decisions, while acting as a bridge between data and the business, building, maintaining scalable analytics workflows and pushing forward strategic data initiatives and promoting data stewardship across the organization.
What you will do
Gain full understanding of Addi’s data ecosystem within the first 90 days, including event structures, transactional systems, and data from third-party tools. Participate in code reviews (PRs) and contribute to decisions about data quality, consistency, and business impact.
Deliver high-quality dashboards and reports to business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with decision-making needs. Ensure usage and data freshness for key reports across at least 2 business units within the first 6 months.
Handle ad-hoc business requests and operational support, resolving issues through alerts, runbooks, and support channels. Participate in on-call rotations and document solutions to common data problems.
Lead at least one cross-functional data initiative during the first six months that improves business visibility, operational efficiency, or data governance, demonstrating ownership and ability to push forward opportunities for improvement.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer or BI professional
Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence.
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the full data lifecycle within a professional production environment.
Proven experience in scalable data development
Writing high-performance SQL to query, transform, and validate massive datasets.
Utilizing Python for scripting and the automation of complex data workflows.
Maintaining code integrity through Git and collaborative version control best practices.
Has solid expertise in modern data architecture
Designing and implementing robust data models (e.g., Star Schema, Data Marts) to support business reporting.
Architecting solutions within cloud environments like Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or GCP.
Managing both structured and unstructured data formats to ensure comprehensive analytical coverage.
Demonstrates ability to manage ETL/ELT lifecycles
Building and maintaining pipelines using tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Talend.
Configuring orchestration frameworks to ensure timely and reliable data delivery.
Track record of bridging business and technical gaps
Translating ambiguous business needs into concrete technical requirements and actionable roadmaps.
Communicating complex data insights effectively to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent professional proficiency in English for global collaboration.
Possesses strong organizational and leadership skills
Prioritizing high-impact tasks and managing stakeholder expectations within fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Taking full ownership of initiatives, driving them from conception to completion with minimal supervision.
Committed to high-standard data stewardship
Implementing rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring protocols for all data products.
Enforcing strict documentation standards to ensure data consistency and transparency.

How the hiring process looks like
We believe in a fast, transparent, and engaging hiring experience that allows both you and us to determine if there's a great fit. Here’s what our process looks like:
Step 1: People Interview (30 min)
A conversation with a recruiter or hiring manager to get to know you, your experience, and what you're looking for. We’ll also share more about Addi, our culture, and the role.
Step 2: Initial Interview (60 min)
A more in-depth conversation with the hiring manager and analytics engineer, where we explore your skills, experience, and problem-solving approach. We want to understand how you think and work.
Step 3: Technical Assessment (60 min)
You’ll work through a practical challenge during the interview. This is a chance to show your technical skills by solving a real-world problem, while also sharing your process and approach.
Step 4: Deep Dive Interviews (20-30 min each)
You'll meet future colleagues and cross-functional team members to get a feel for how we work together. We’re looking for strong contributors and cultural fits, so bring your questions, too!
Step 5: Co-Founder Interview
If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
