NVIDIA seeks a highly collaborative community leader to lead the strategy and technical delivery of developer ecosystem strategies for Biological Science platforms and applications. The role will define and implement a technical strategy and platform plan to enable genomics and bioinformatics researchers, developers, and DevOps engineers to adopt and scale NVIDIA technologies across ISVs, platforms, and instruments. You will work with community developers, NVIDIA product, software and hardware developers, research scientists, and the user community to capture community needs, inform product roadmaps, and support go-to-market strategies. This role requires expert knowledge across GPU architectures, Data and AI cloud platforms, omics technologies, AI and HPC. Your multidisciplinary expertise in collaborative development, AI, and GPU computing will be key to NVIDIA's impact. Your expertise will be crucial in engineering solutions with NVIDIA’s healthcare and life sciences’ platform partners, ensuring NVIDIA computing is seamlessly integrated to optimize biological analysis workflows.
This role is a unique blend of software architecture, engineering, and product sensibility. You'll be crafting strategies and develop proof-of-concepts with platform enterprise and community partners that showcase a joint vision and eventually become integral features in their products. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with our product managers, technical marketing engineers, and engineering leaders to continuously enhance NVIDIA's software offerings. What you will be doing:
Building joint solutions with ISV and platform partners to enhance the experience for researchers, bioinformatics engineers, and model developers.
Immersing yourself inCUDA-X librariesandNVIDIA AI, becoming an expert in the SDKs, services, and workflows that constitute it
Developing proof-of-concepts and technical reference examples, contributing to community tools with ISV, CSP, and NCP partners
Leading technical platform integration roadmaps, while jumping in to solve technical issues as partners integrate with NVIDIA Digital Biology Solutions
Working closely with NVIDIA product managers and engineering leads to refine and expand NVIDIA solutions
Document what you know and guide others. This can vary from building targeted reference examples for Solutions Architects and other internal collaborators, to as well as for platforms partners — writing whitepapers, blogs, and simply working through hard problems with a customer on a whiteboard
Engage with the external community to provide usability feedback to our internal teams to improve product capabilities.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Life Sciences.
12+ years of meaningful work experience in software development, technical evangelism, technical marketing, or similar.
3+ years of relevant experience or deep domain expertise in life sciences, omics, or accelerated computing.
Community acceptance in the omics and HPC computing ecosystem as a technical contributor and leader.
A consistent track record of collaborating on technical projects with multi-functional teams.
Hands-on software development experience deploying and scaling containerized workflows on the cloud and on prem.
Proven strength in delivering presentations to technical partners and producing high‑quality content for developers.
A keen sense for product vision and an ability to translate product value propositions to compelling demonstrations.
Strong passion for staying updated with the latest technological advancements in AI and related fields.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and SDKs, particularly Parabricks or RAPIDS.
Proven track record leading high‑impact technical initiatives.
Hands‑on experience deploying production omics workflows for applications such as next‑generation sequencing or precision medicine.
Demonstrated experience in building and deploying AI agents to optimize and automate scientific workflows.
Published technical thought leadership—e.g, GitHub contributions, open‑source involvement, or active participation in technical communities.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
