About the RoleWe are building the next generation of visual intelligence for the global fashion industry — and we are looking for an exceptional Lead in Computer Graphics & Computer Vision to join us at the intersection of research and real-world impact.
This role is designed for top technical minds from world-class institutions such as MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley (USA); Oxford, Cambridge, ETH Zurich, Imperial College (Europe); Tsinghua, Peking University, University of Tokyo, KAIST, NUS, NTU (Asia); and IITs / IISc (India) — or professionals with equivalent research and innovation experience.
You will work at the frontier of classical computer vision, deep learning, and graphics, transforming cutting-edge research into scalable product prototypes that redefine how millions of people experience fashion online.
Ideal candidates bring experience from leading research environments such as Microsoft Research, Google Research, Meta AI, IBM Research, Adobe Research, or top university labs, and are excited to bridge academic innovation with fast-moving product development.
You will own ideation, experimentation, rapid prototyping, and the translation of vision research into production-ready features for a global fashion-tech platform.
Key Responsibilities- Lead hands-on development of advanced prototypes in computer graphics and computer vision: from ideation → experimentation → iteration → initial product builds.
- Design and implement both:
- Classical vision pipelines (image processing, geometry, segmentation, pose estimation, 3D reconstruction), and
- AI-driven models (CNNs, Vision Transformers, multimodal and foundation models).
- Apply visual technologies to product-ready use cases such as:
- Virtual try-on systems
- Catalog image understanding
- Pose and garment mapping
- AR/VR fashion experiences
- Visual personalization and styling intelligence
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Design, UX, and Data Science teams to integrate research outcomes into real applications.
- Define the technical roadmap for vision and graphics: evaluate emerging research and propose new directions (generative vision models, foundation models, graphics-augmented AI).
- Build partnerships with academic labs, open-source communities, and research institutions to stay ahead of the state-of-the-art.
- Produce high-quality documentation of experiments, architectures, and production modules; contribute thought leadership internally and externally.
Requirements- Bachelor’s in Engineering and preferably Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, Graphics, or related field from top-tier institutions (e.g., MIT, Stanford, Oxford, ETH Zurich, CMU, IITs, IISc, NUS, Tsinghua, etc.).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and/or computer graphics, ideally including time in a research lab or innovation environment (e.g., Microsoft Research, Google Research, IBM Research, Meta AI, Adobe Research, or university research groups).
- Strong foundations in:
- Image processing
- Feature extraction
- Geometry and 3D vision
- Segmentation, pose estimation, reconstruction
- Proven experience with modern AI vision models:
- Deep learning architectures
- Vision Transformers
- Multimodal and foundation models
- Large-scale training and fine-tuning
- Excellent programming skills in Python and C++, and frameworks such as OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
- Ability to bridge research and production — comfortable with rapid prototyping, experimentation, and deployment planning.
- Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
Nice to Have- Experience in fashion-tech or retail-tech (virtual try-on, digital catalogs, AR/VR apparel systems).
- Publications at top conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS or strong open-source contributions.
- Experience with generative models (NeRFs, 3D garment modeling, simulation pipelines).
- Exposure to deploying vision systems in production (mobile, edge, cloud, real-time constraints).
- Experience working in global, multi-geography environments.
If you are a researcher-builder who wants your work to move from papers and prototypes to products used by millions — this role is for you.
