Perplexity is looking for a dynamic and analytical individual to join our Strategic Finance team to help drive scalable enterprise and consumer GTM, own financial processes, and be the go-to for all things product & growth finance related.
This role will have a variety of responsibilities but we’re seeking a sharp, creative individual to join our Strategic Finance team. You will assist in various business, strategy, and GTM initiatives, ranging from GTM finance, enterprise sales, financial planning, partnerships, and product. You’ll work closely with the enterprise and consumer growth teams in the completion of strategic initiatives that help Perplexity scale and develop meaningful products. The ideal candidate brings intellectual curiosity about AI technology, analytical rigor, technical understanding of software and AI products, and creativity in problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Develop and own financial analysis for enterprise and consumer growth initiatives, ranging from topline projections down to unit economics for various growth channels
Develop and own core financial models used for strategic enterprise GTM planning, including quota planning, cross-sell, up-sell, and other various sales and marketing initiatives
Develop financial frameworks for analyzing unique, large strategic partnerships and deals
Lead various special projects required by C-suite and VPs ranging across product, growth, engineering, search, and business
Independently identify areas within the organization that need analytical support and use analysis to drive clarity in critical decision-making
Help develop and build scalable processes across finance, business, and growth
What you’ll bring:
At least 3+ years of GTM finance role at another rapidly growing company or direct investing experience (private equity, growth equity) covering enterprise SaaS
At least 2 years of banking or consulting at top-tier firm
Experience in building financial analysis to drive strategic decisions
Strong financial acumen and ability to partner with growth and engineering teams
Hands-on attitude to tackle projects large and small, low-ego approach to working across the organization
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
