The Opportunity
As a Senior Director for the MENA region, you will lead our highest-stakes expansion efforts, operating within a culture that values divergent perspectives and bold, transformative impact. This is a Senior Director position requiring an entrepreneurial mastery to create a market for a category-defining product. You will serve as a sophisticated and independent partner for high-profile customers in the region, working in close collaboration with our executive leadership to build lasting trust. Your central purpose is to architect the GTM strategy for our most strategic regional accounts, driving complex sales cycles that require high-level relationship management and deep technical credibility.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Middle East market: Build, drive, and execute a regional GTM strategy, identify lighthouse accounts, and close enterprise deals.
Full-cycle selling: Prospect, qualify, present, demo, negotiate, and close large, multi-stakeholder enterprise opportunities.
Technical evangelism: Have technical discussions about the product offerings.
Strategic relationships: Leverage your network to open doors at major banks, telcos, governments, energy, and other critical infrastructure customers.
Channel & ecosystem building: Cultivate relationships with regional system integrators, VARs, and technology partners to drive pipeline.
Market intelligence: Be SandboxAQ’s eyes and ears in the Middle East—report on trends, regulations (e.g., crypto agility, PQC mandates), and competitive moves.
Brand presence: Represent SandboxAQ at regional events, executive briefings, and with press/analyst interactions when needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
15+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity, identity, cryptography, or infrastructure software.
At least 7-8 years in a direct, quota-carrying sales role.
A proven track record of closing complex, 6-7 figure deals in the Middle East with C-suite and technical stakeholders.
An existing deep network across major enterprises and government sectors in the Middle East.
An entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with the demonstrated ability to operate with minimal support, build a pipeline, and deliver revenue growth.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Highly Desired Skills & Experience
A strong technical background.
Professional fluency in Arabic.
Familiarity with AI Security.
