Data Scientist
- Defines , creates and enhances database models for operational and reporting needs for specified domain.
- Create , build, design database schemas to enable high throughput OLTP transactions
- Code stored procs , packages, triggers using standard database patterns and ensure optimal performance and a secure codebase.
- Troubleshoot and identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions to fix observed or potential issues with design, performance or security.
- Ensures adherence to Enterprise data movement , quality and accountability standards in technology.
- Conducts data driven analyses of usage of detailed data elements across the business domain to provide optimal data provisioning patterns across the application space.
- Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value. Challenges data and information integrity. Works as a business partner that provides decision support to various LOB unit leaders.
- Leads discussion in the ongoing development and operations of both operational data models and business intelligence architecture that enables fast real time access to data as well as fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight generation.
- Operational Data Store modeling, design and development
- Design and prototype new analyses, reports, applications and systems
- Enhancing old processes and defining new ones
- Data mining and producing novel reports for management
- Works closely with Line of Business Client to develop and enhance SQL data base solution
Salary Range- $125,000-$130,000 a year
Qualifications: BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
