Responsibilities:
• Lead a team and provide mentorship to a multidisciplinary team focused on R&D of technologies, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Identify and evaluate new technology trends to enhance product offerings and solutions.
• Oversee the development of concepts from initial proof-of-concept through feasibility studies and scalable pilot implementations.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to assess market feasibility and align innovation efforts with customer needs.
• Set annual and quarterly goals for the team, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure team members are motivated and engaged.
• Manage budgets and oversee salary planning for both direct and indirect reports.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of advanced technologies.
• Investigate and resolve product issues identified during development, testing, production, or field operations.
• Maintain awareness of external technological advancements and build partnerships with research institutions, startups, and vendors.
• Advocate for customer-driven innovation by engaging stakeholders and end users to address real-world challenges with advanced solutions.
