We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced research scientist to support assay development and execution. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in high throughput/plate-based formats (e.g., CTG, HTRF, NanoBRET), microscopy, and laboratory automation. This role requires hands-on lab experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly cell-biological assays for screening cascades and prepare associated data reports
- Develop and implement cell-based assays using diverse approaches, such as viability, reporter genes, and target engagement/MoA for candidate drugs (e.g., fluorescence microscopy, NanoDLR, NanoBRET)
- Generate statistics and reports using experimental curve-fitting tools (e.g., GraphPad PRISM, CDD)
- Contribute to multiple projects in parallel, balancing duties across project teams
- Perform all duties in alignment with core values, internal policies, and applicable regulations
Requirements:
- PhD (0+/2) or MS degree with 6+ years of industry experience in a relevant biological or scientific discipline
- Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture
- Hands-on experience performing and developing plate and cell-based assays
- Strong troubleshooting, organization, and planning skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Background in small molecule drug discovery and development, or relevant academic experience
- Experience in microscopy, lab automation, and/or programming for data analysis is a plus
