As a Technology Research Analyst, you’ll research companies building in AI, automation, SaaS, and productivity tools. You’ll prepare interview questions, analyze LinkedIn profiles, compile fact sheets, and source third-party data to inform our internal systems.
We’re looking for someone who combines technical fluency with industry awareness—someone who can interpret how technologies like LLMs, automation platforms, and data infrastructure are reshaping markets. This role is ideal for someone analytical, tech-curious, and eager to work in a fast-growing AI startup.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structured research on AI, SaaS, and data companies.
- Prepare concise audit reports summarizing customer personas, competitors, and influencers.
- Develop founder interview questions to surface storylines and insights.
- Track and synthesize industry trends across AI, automation, and data infrastructure.
- Suggest content themes or strategy directions post-interview.
- Verify accuracy of technical details, data, and references.
- Monitor breaking news, new research reports, and industry trends
Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in research, technology analysis, or early-stage startups.
- Strong understanding of modern AI systems, data infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS.
- Ability to interpret technical material and translate it into clear insights.
- Strong academic background and experience in a related sector (consulting, research or banking).
- Comfortable with structured documentation tools (Notion, Airtable, etc.).
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, detail-heavy environments.
