Computer Vision Engineer

As a Computer Vision Engineer at eBots, you will develop and implement models for a broad range of computer vision tasks, including object detection, classification, segmentation, localization, and 6-DOF pose estimation.
You will architect approaches to meet stringent accuracy, reliability, and speed requirements, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally with robotics and software teams to integrate and deploy these models on next-generation industrial robot systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel, customized deep learning-based or classic computer vision models.
- Propose, analyze, evaluate, and implement novel, patentable approaches to computer vision problems.
- Optimize algorithms to meet or exceed speed, accuracy, and reliability requirements for industrial use.
- Design and write production-quality C++ code.
Qualifications
- Master or Ph.D. in Computer Vision or a related field.
- 3+ years of algorithm development experience in computer vision and deep learning.
- Proven track record of innovation, including patents or peer-reviewed publications.
- Willingness to learn and work in a variety of technical areas.
- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with industrial robot systems including robotic arms, cameras, and grippers
- Experience with TensorRT or similar inference optimization frameworks.
- Familiarity with structured-light or 3D vision systems.
- Familiarity with various architectures.
