We are looking for a mechatronics engineer to help scale our factory and equipment. The job involves major freedom to explore different approaches and iterate quickly, while working on a very high performing team. You should be someone who loves doing both design and working hands on with equipment, and who is at home with machines of all types.

Responsibilities
- Development, testing, qualification of new production equipment to make precision cast components
- Line support - debugging issues when equipment is down
- Developing process - experimenting with different machine parameters to improve throughput, yield, capability, and reliability
- Working with materials team to integrate and test improved materials and process
Experience
- 2 years minimum of professional mechatronics experience
- Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, electrical engineering, or similar, or evidence of exceptional ability
- Familiarity with common industrial hardware and controls - fittings, connectors, microcontrollers, motion control
- Excellent design skills
- Experience working with vendors and getting designs manufactured
- US Person - due to ITAR requirements
