The Role We're seeking an AI Engineer to develop and optimize machine learning models for our consumer device platform. You'll work on cutting-edge problems in speech recognition, natural language understanding, and multimodal AI systems.
What You'll Build
- Train and optimize LLM or Classifier models for intent classification and natural language understanding
- Develop on-device speech recognition and audio processing pipelines
- Build on-device video understanding processing pipelines
- Build context-aware AI systems that understand user behavior and preferences
- Create real-time inference engines optimized for edge deployment
- Design and implement active learning systems for continuous model improvement
Requirements Must Have:
- 3+ years experience training and deploying ML models in production
- Strong background in NLP, speech processing, or computer vision
- Experience with transformer architectures
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and MLOps tools
- Track record of optimizing models for edge/mobile deployment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with on-device ASR/TTS systems
- Work with Rust/Javascript
- Consumer electronics or smart home device experience
- Edge AI optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation)
- Real-time streaming audio/video processing
