About the Role
We are seeking a Research Specialist to join our Chicago-based team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and business-savvy individual who excels at research, writing, and AI-driven content creation. The Research Specialist will support Colonnade’s thought leadership efforts by producing whitepapers, quarterly reports, and industry analyses. (See https://coladv.com/insights/ for our research.) This role requires expertise in prompt engineering, AI-assisted research, and business writing.

Key Responsibilities
- Industry Research & Content Creation: Write whitepapers, quarterly reports, and industry profiles, leveraging AI to enhance research and analysis.
- Company & Market Analysis: Profile private equity firms, competitors to our clients, and strategic industry buyers.
- AI-Powered Research: Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering to streamline research and content generation.
- Transaction Tracking: Monitor and document M&A transactions and industry activity.
- Thought Leadership Development: Generate LinkedIn content to support Colonnade’s brand and market presence.
